What Does The Windmill Do To Create Electricity?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Windmills convert the kinetic energy from the moving winds to mechanical energy which in turn produces electrical energy through enormous generators called wind turbines. They are more aptly called Wind Power Units (WPU) or Aero generators. They are a clean source of energy as they do not produce CFC gases and do a little harm to the environment compared with other sources of power generation. The typical Horizontal Axis Turbines use a rotor shaft and a generator placed at the top of a tower in order to produce electricity.
