You need to take a degree of LLB to become a lawyer, which is a three years course if you take it as a full time course. There are part time courses also, but in that case the duration of the course increases and can take upto five years.

Various institutes follow different patterns for their course of study, but overall it is same throughout the UK. If we take the case of University of Hull, the degree structure of its three year course is classified as follows: In the first year the syllabus comprises of Contract Law, Criminal Law, legal Skills, legal system, public law and constitution and Tort law. Similarly, in the second year and in the third year they teach on different subjects.

To know more about the courses they offer and about the fee structure, you can visit their website that is www.law.hull.ac.uk. You can also visit search engines on internet, which can give you name of other websites of other universities and courses offered by them.
