My little brother found a couple lizards in the back yard and wants to keep them. What can we feed them? Is it ok to keep them in the same aquarium? How do we figure out what kind of lizard they are? And one of them seems to be missing its tail, will it grow back?
They could be any type of lizard. You need to describe the lizard .what does it look like?what colors and design? How big are they?what part of the country are you in mountain area, desert area, wooded area.
well, there are actually two of them.. I looked up the lizards that are native to this area... and I think I have a green anole, and he has a mediterranean gecko... at least based on looks
If i were you, i would go to petsmart. We have lizards, and they will have all the info you need there. They know what they are talking about. They also have lots of free literature so you know exactly how to care for and what to feed them. If you aren't able to go to a petsmart, find a local pet store. If you can, take them with you to make this easier. Our lizards are anole's. They are little "florida lizards" we have three of them and they eat 30 small crickets every 2-3 days & we are able to keep them together in the aquariam. I hope this is of some help...good luck guys!!!
