Answer Question

Not really. Christmas wasn't invented until several hundred years after the New Testament was written.

Nope. Modern christmas traditions and the christmas tree were stolen from norse and pagan religions by early christian missionaries. Most modern christian holidays and holiday traditions are blatant rip offs from other religious traditions. The early missionaries did this in order to convert the "filthy heathens" (who, by the way, were generally better bathed than the southern european christians).  they would try to convince them that their new religion was the same or similar as the pagan one so dates and customs were "fudged".
