Bauhaus split up in the year 1983, this brake up happened due to the bad health problems that were plaguing the vocalist, Peter Murphy. These health problems and the creative strains and the expectations of fan for them to live up to their Goth music and image the band decided to call it quits and split up. After the disbandment of Bauhaus the all of the members pursued solo careers, however in the year 1998 the band re united for the Resurrection Tour. On this tour the band also featured two new songs called "Severance" and "The Dogs a Vapour".
