At this point, you shouldn't need to be doing anything to look after them, with the exception of keeping mom dog well fed and happy. If she's not really good at cleaning up, then you'll need to change the bedding regularly to keep the pups clean and dry... But other than that, you can just enjoy them for the next few weeks, but you have some research to do during that time. There are a lot of good sites that can provide you with the information you need... Here are a few of my favorites... http://www.debbiejensen.com/whelping.html http://www.faqs.org/faqs/dogs-faq/medical-info/whelping/ (scroll down for puppy info.) http://members.tripod.com/~Jerrier/Temperament.html
All you have to do is to look after their mom rest she will do. See if she is properly nourished or not. Give her some warm place where she can easily see her puppies.
If you bought the puppies then give them milk after every 2 hours and if they are not drinking it from the pan then use dropper. When they are one month old then you can trim their tails and give them bath and every thing. But right now they are too young for this.
