Because I Am Afraid Of Offending Black Or Asian People I Deliberately Avoid Them. When I Hear How They Relate To Each Other Through Rap. How Can They Expect White People To Respect Them When They Themselves Disrespect Them?

I have found myself feeling uncomfortable in the company of foreigners in case I say something offensive and get labelled as a racist.

On the subject of blacks and rap music (degrading themselves): just remember that all races listen to rap music and that all races make rap music. So make sure you are saying that you don't get involved with ANYONE who likes rap music. That way you can avoid being racist.Secondly, if you feel uncomfortable with other people's culture, it's okay to avoid dating them as long as you're respectful. Keep in mind though, that it's possible to meet someone of a different race that is very similar to you. Stay open minded, variety of culture is beautiful : )

1 like all types of music including rap. however i do not like the lyrics that are foul mouthed in any language nor the way almost every video portrays black girls as whores. i work with people who are into rap and who are white. but most of them are wanna be blacks who admire their in your face culture and think every black girl is automatically going to think they are cool. this education is down to the gangsta rap sleezy videos. if i was black i think i would be ashamed of how they portray black people.

Sometimes it is hard for people to understand or adapt to other's cultures and way of life. If it makes you uncomfortable don't subject yourself to it. If you want to continue to keep their company, I suggest you think before you speak and if you know it's going to be offensive, don't say it. Respect yourself first.

A safe distance is best kept when you are dealing with them.

You won't be labeled a racist for keeping a distance, you will be if you are in this circle and keep your distance from there.

You can also choose a different circle of friends to hang around so that you don't have to worry about it.

Hi alva, i don't have a racist bone in my entire body but i find it hard to be politically correct when they themselves keep changing the rules. Is the n word only acceptable between black people in conversation among themselves. I find it deeply offensive even when it is they that use it. This is just one example of many were i would probably object to its use and get into bother.:)
