What Are Symptoms After Gall Bladder Surgery?

Answer Question

You will be sore for a bit as you did have an incision/cut into your abdomen.  Depending if you have the gallbladder removed laparoscopically or the open way  will determine how fast you recover.  I think you need to call the surgeon and ask him these questions.  Call their office, leave you question and they should get back to you.  I have had surgery and if I have questions I always call the MD or their office because I don't want to take the risk of having a complication of the surgery because I was too shy to ask.  Don't be scared to talk with the doctor or their office.

Have a friend you had her gallbladder removed years ago and when she eats greasy oily foods, she get a bit of pain/discomfort for a bit which goes away within half hour.  Each person is different.
