You will be sore for a bit as you did have an incision/cut into your abdomen. Depending if you have the gallbladder removed laparoscopically or the open way will determine how fast you recover. I think you need to call the surgeon and ask him these questions. Call their office, leave you question and they should get back to you. I have had surgery and if I have questions I always call the MD or their office because I don't want to take the risk of having a complication of the surgery because I was too shy to ask. Don't be scared to talk with the doctor or their office.
