It would be a good idea to look at how they do their classes, before you decide. You should observe how they treat the students, how the students treat each other, and how fast they learn what they are being taught. Some instructors are very strict and may make it difficult for some students to learn. I personally am a slow learner and I get frazzled when i am being instructed by a mean instructor.
Any instructor would really appreciate you watching for all of these things.
I also prefer Kung Fu over Taekwondo and Karate, but I also prefer Taekwondo over Karate.
