    Pliant means to be docile and easily influenced or cooperative. Its a noun and it can be used in one of the following ways :-

    1) Samson is a very pliant individual and predictable enough for this position.
    2) Anita has proven to be pliant enough so far with the company policies.
    3) Julie has so far been very pliant.

      The word pliant is an adjective that means 'flexible, bending readily, adaptable or easily influenced by others. It can be used in a sentence like this:
      ' Her employees stopped taking her seriously because of her pliant nature'.
      It may also be used as an adjective to refer to objects that can be twisted and bent easily without breaking. For instance:
      ' They soaked the leather to make it pliant'.

      Some synonyms for the adjective pliant are:
      Adaptable, supple, adjustable, flexible, moldable, malleable, impressionable, suggestibe etc.
