Who Is Mary Magdalene?

Mary Magdalene was the one who came to jesus tomb and found that he wasn't there.  Later jesus appeared to her and asked her why was she crying; she didn't recognize him right away. John20:1

Mary Magdalene was a woman from the region of Magdala.  She had 7 evil spirits, and was healed by our Lord Jesus Christ.  She was so grateful and loved Jesus so much that she traveled with Him and His disciples, and other women who cooked and did laundy for the men so they could focus on their mission- spreading the gospel.  Mary m.  Also was the 1st person to see Jesus after He rose from the dead.  Yes- He appeared to a woman first!  
Mary Magdalene was NOT married to Jesus, regardless of what DaVinci's Code says.  That is a blasphemous lie!   Jesus was never married.  But she was a very dedicated follower and servant of Jesus.
