What Is The Average Rainfall In The Zahara?

Answer Question

The average rainfall in Zahara is around seventeen inches. Zahara de la Sierra is tiny little village located in Southern Spain, placed in the province of Cadiz, situated in the hills of Andalusia.

It is balanced on a mountain, overlooking a vale and man-made lake which is created by the dam which must be driven over to enter the town. It is said to be one of the "pueblos blancos" or "white towns" because of the fact that most of the buildings in this region are white.

The town was initially a Moorish outpost, over passing the vale, because of its strategic location in between Ronda and Seville, it was an ideal place for a castle to be built and could also be used as fortress in case of an attack.
