Hi, please don't worry，i think your friend is safe now. Wuhu is in Anhui provice and not near the earthquake epicenter where is near the city of Wenchuan in Sichuan province.
And Hope the disaster will end soon, the government and all the Chinese people are doing their best to save every life.
