How Do I Wire A Switch So I Can Turn On Or Off The Light From To Places?

Answer Question

You need to use two three way switches.  Go to Ask the Builder. They have a video.  Or try 3 way switch diagram for sketches.  I can't give you a link.  They censor me and give me demerits when I do (??)

The way to run a 3-way is to run a 14/3 wire from your original switch location to where you want the other one. Put the white wire on the common screw (black screw) and your black and red on the travelers screws (gold screws) it doesn't matter which goes where. On the other switch you take the white in the wire you just ran and wire nut it to your hot wires, then take the black that goes to your light and hook it to your common screw (black screw) then hook your black and red to the travelers screws (gold screws) it doesn't matter which goes where. Put all the switches back in the wall and turn the power on then test your new 3-way switches.
