How Do I Stop A Buzzing Noise Coming From My Electric Guitar?

Answer Question

This is sometimes the result of a bad ground between the guitar and amp.  Careful of the electricity when checking this.  The amp uses 110 volts and it only takes 50 to kill a human.

The buzzing is probably a grounding issue. There are many things you can try. Check your amp and reverse your plug, tighten your jacks on your patch cords and check internally, also cut a small piece from an old string attach one end to your bridge and the other to where you jack the guitar in. Finally you can blow the dust etc and clean out the pots for your control knobs.
