What Is The Longest Time Anyone Has Danced For?

There are some energetic people out there you know! The world record for non-stop dancing is an incredible 56 hours, performed by The Neighbourhood Crew of Harare, Zimbabwe. However, there aremore fascinating dance facts to know. The fastest tap dancer title goes to the famous Irish dancer, Michael Flatley. According to the Guinness Book of Records, on May 9th 1999, Flatley managed to set the world record for tap dancing by tapping a terrific tap of 28 taps per second! In February of 1998, Flatley broke his own record and incredibly tapped an amazing 35 taps per second. However, on May 25th 1998, tap dancer, James Devine beat the record by tapping a fantastic 38 taps per second in a display in Sydney, Australia.
But Michael Flatley wins again in the World Records being beeing the highest paid dancer, earning $1,6000,000 per week. His legs are insured for a grand total of $40,000,000!
