Queen Street is a prime location in Sheffield and situated almost at the centre of the city. It connects the Tenter Street to the Bank Street and a number of streets meet it on the way. Notably among them are Silver Street and New Street.

The street houses many of the corporate offices because of its location. It is in the centre of the city and has an easy access to the motorway network. The law court is also quite close to the place and any dispute about the legal affairs can be cleared or at least can be chased easily.

Housing the businesses is quite important these days as the economy of Sheffield, after so many years of downturn, is showing signs of revival. One of the studies done by a leading bank has ranked Harlem, a district of Sheffield as the wealthiest area after London.
