    "Choosing a marketing target strategy" can be defined as follows:

    The selection of the marketing strategy which includes the factors on the basis of which you will select your target audience you want to serve is known as choosing a marketing target strategy. In this strategy three areas are considered like which segments have to target, how many products you will offer to the target market and which product you want to offer to which segment you have selected. There are three parts of marketing target strategy which includes market segmentation, target audience and product positioning. Marketing target strategy can be influenced by the factors like market maturity, buyers' needs and preferences, profitability and competition.
