Male dogs become fertile at the age of six months but that is not the recommended age of dog fertility. The reason for that is that there is a low sperm count when the dog is this young. The recommended age of dog fertility is 8 months. Since the dog that you bred your pet with was ten months old, age wise he is perfectly fertile. It is possible for your dog to turn out pregnant when they get stuck together only if your dog was in heat period. As it is the fifth week of the possible pregnancy, this is the ideal time for you to take your dog out to a vet for examination. The vet will examine your dog by palpation to feel for the embryo. If your dog is pregnant, she might also have morning sickness by now because of the hormonal changes occurred during pregnancy.
