    The Algonquin Park is actually a Provincial Park, and is located in Ontario, Canada. The park is a beautiful hilled network of lakes, rivers and trees with lots of wildlife due to strict regulation on activities in the park.

    The park is 7725 sq km in size and only has one road running through it. Apart from this road the only other method of access is by foot or canoe.

      It is actually the only park in Ontario that still allows logging, all be it in a controlled way.

        The park is 7725 sq km in size and only has one road running through it. Apart from this road the only other method of access is by foot or canoe. Along this road you can stay on camp sites or in lodges, and its best to contact the park authority to book these.

        The Algonquin Park has 3,425 campsites (tent plots) throughout 11 camping grounds, one group site, and 2100 backcountry sites for camping. You can reach the park on highway 60, its between Ottawa and Sudbury
