That my life is worth living no matter how bad it gets.... Doesn't make sense really, but if I hadn't had my bird I probably would be around anymore.

I don't know that cats can teach you much, but, one thing I can say, is that you get what you give to them. I pamper them with love, and they give it back to me. They have toys, and treats, and brushes, they are also allowed to go outside, and stay very close to me when I am out there in the summer gardening. Really, they are like my babies, and are very playful. Gotta love that, when they are playing, very entertaining. Lol
