    My dogs doctor said when she had a dry nose she might be getting sick or dehydrated.

      It depends. It has been said that when they are sick they have a dry nose, but just because a dog has a dry nose it doesn't necessarily mean the dog is sick.

        I can mean they are sick, but can also mean they are dehydrated.  If there are no other symptoms of illness and you make sure the dog has plenty of water to drink at will, it's probably ok, but if there is even the slightest of any other symptoms, get it to a vet.

        It is either tired and has been laying around and just woke up or it is sick.
