Why Are There So Many Dumb Questions On Blurtit?
I mean really... For ex: Am I a witch? Are aliens infesting the planet? Am I a psychic?

I wish I knew. Maybe people are just looking for attention. Maybe some of them actually believe what they're talking about, and maybe some just want to have a little fun (I don't believe that myself). You must realize that a lot of Blurters are kids. So who knows? Just laugh, and try to give them a clever answer. That's part of the fun.

The scientific answer might be the ratio of idiots to people with brains. Like I figure a mean average of 20% of people are 'A'holes, and wherever you go, no matter the group or the workplace or ball field or park, you will run into a % of 'A'holes or rednecks if you prefer, ooohps I am letting my prejudices show. But that is the nature of man, math and life.
I guess a lot of people are dumb and need to ask dumb questions. When i first came on this website i thought the same thing but i chose to ignore it

It takes all kinds to make a world as the saying goes. People are dumb, smart, playful, serious, mean, nice etc. So on Blurtit you'll see just about every type of person. And, as robbier44 says, a lot of members are younger and not very knowledgeable. I think it's fun answering questions but I ignore the ones I feel are stupid or are asked in jest.

Some people want to draw attention towards, what i suggest is all these type of question should not be approved.

People from all over the world come to this site, if some of their questions sound "dumb" it may be a language barrier.........all seriousness aside, there really are people in here who ask dumb questions just to get a rise out of us, those you just ignore or you could come back with just as dumb an answer as the question.
