    'Turkish Bath' is a bath process which is originated in the Middle East specifically formed in Turkey. The name of that kind of bath is originated from its native land. The process is a combination of exposure to warm water, steam immersion, then it follows a massage and last a cold bath or shower. The Turkish bath is generally called the 'Hammam' in its native areas where it is started. It reflects the fusion of the massage as well as cosmetic characteristics of the eastern bath tradition. It also reflects the heating and plumbing modus operands of the Romans.

    Turkish bath was lesser than the Roman theme and it is more lightly lit. The rooms were exclusively decorated with valuable marbles and mosaics in aspect of the baths of Constantinople. The 'hammam' was very much popular through out the Islamic world for relaxation and socializing as well as bathing.

    The Turkish bath was adapted and accepted as well as exported to Europe and United States in the 19th century. Some baths of Turkish method are still in use.
