    Orange is a fruit since it consist of citrus and is grown on a small tree, which grows up to 10m tall, with thorny shoots and evergreen leaves that grow up to 4-10 cm long. There are two types of oranges namely sweet orange which consist of Citrus sinensis and the bitter orange which consist of Citrus aurantium. It is commonly known as the "Chinese apple".

    This word is derived from the Sanskrit word 'narang'. It first originated in Southeast Asia. Some sources claim that it could be originated in India, Pakistan, Vietnam or Southern China. It generally grows well in warm climates the fruit orange is used for a lot of purposes such as, orange juice, garnishing, orange zest is also produced from the outer most layer of the rind.
