How Long Does It Take To Obtain A Degree In Investment Banking?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Actually there are very few recognised universities or colleges that offer degrees in investment banking. If you're looking for a fully fledged degree then it will take a maximum of three years to procure one. However most people trained in investment banking usually pick it as a specialisation while earning their MBA-or Masters in Business Administration.

The Salford Business School in England offers an MSc in Investment Banking. It is a full time year long course. Students are assured of a lucrative and challenging career and can even specialise their studies by selecting modules that are in line with their career goals. The fees are £3,160 for Local students or EU students and International students have to pay £9,450.

However a person interested in a career in investment banking need not necessarily have a degree in investment banking they can also have bachelor's degrees in finance, economics, accounting or business.
