How Do You Get Fingernail Fungus?

I have a nail fungus which continues to get worse. I can't find a solution and want to know how I got the fungus. I already used the Lamisil prescription, but it didn't work. When I was a child I had athletes foot. We used NP27. Is there a product similar to NP27?

The fungal infection of the nail is called onychomycosis. It
is caused by the trichophyton which is dermatophyte. This infection is difficult to treat because it affects the nail and require 4-6 weeks of treatment. Currently no fully effective medicine is available. Oral and topical preparations are combined which give results to some extent. It has been seen that both these medicine hive 100% results if the nail is removed first. After the treatment new nail is born. NP 27 is not the name of any brand. Such names are given when the medicine is under trials. Currently, one medicine called AN2690 is under trials specific to treat onychomycosis. Discuss this medicine and nail removal with the dermatologist.
