I dont have any tax liability as it is and am getting to claim myself and my girlfriend who had not worked at all this past year as a qualifying person. My question is if my rebate for this economic stimulus package will change because I am claiming her as well or will it still just be the 300?

You can only get a benefit from the economic stimulus legislation if you can claim a dependent for the child tax credit (under 17 years old). You also must have at least $3000.00 of qualifying income. Go to IRS.GOV and select the rebate questions icon, and navigate to the rebate calculator.
