Sadler's Wells is a theatre that is located on Rosebery Avenue in Clerkenwell in London. It is one of the most famous drama places. It presently has its sixth theatre open and has the capacity to set close to 1,500 people. It also houses the Lilian Baylis Theatre that seats 200 people. Sadler's Wells is famous for its dance and opera as well as its splendid ballet recitals.

Most performance companies prefer to opt for this theatre while staging in London. The theatre company got its name from the rediscovery of the monastic springs on the property. At the time, in 1683, it was owned by Richard Sadler. The spring was said to have medicinal properties and was also supposed to be remedial in treating various kinds of illnesses. Since the time there have been sic theatres that have been erected here.
