What Were The Trenches Like In WW1?

    I'm not sure, I need to know too. I think that it was mud on the ground with the occasional planks of wood, there were sandbags around the edges, and it was very cold and wet.  :)

      Muddy, full of corpses, smelly, full of water, rats, disease, always falling down e.t.c
