The density of gold is 19.32g/cm3 while another is 8.9g/cm3
so whatever the weight of them, gold id denser, has nothing to do with the volume and weight. In addtion, the density of material could change by the variety of the temperature, but just a little. Hope it helps

1 kilogram of gold is denser than 1 kilogram of copper because the density of 1 kg gold is 93,000 kg/m3 where density of 1 kg copper is 8960kg/m3.
