You can't access your wireless router from your LAN Card in your computer. Wireless device can always be accessed through wireless card in your computer.

If it is not the case, then your computer wireless card should have same IP address class as set by in your wireless router.

I am not sure if in your wireless device DHCP server is activated or not. You are using gateway and proxy settings or not.

The error shows that the gateway setting in your computer is not up to date as in your laptop.

I suggest you to see all the settings in your laptop and try to configure your computer according it this.

Keep in mind that this is not a browser problem. Secondly you should also check the proxy settings of your browser.
