    Manual Testing basically is a section of software testing which necessitates operator input, analysis or evaluation. It simple terms it means a value obtained by putting together a number of qualities and then dividing the total sum by the number of these quantities.

    In Manual Testing the defects are tracked or monitored automatically with the help of built-in tools. Manual Testing is carried with the help of a software tester which executes all the steps on the tested application. It progresses step by step and notifies whether a particular step was functioning effectively or whether it failed. Manual Testing is very helpful in the preliminary stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
