Which Is The Best Type Of Pocket Bike To Buy For An Adult Or Older Teenager?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Midi-moto pocket bikes are the best bet as they have larger frames and larger fuel tanks, making them more comfortable to ride and giving a greater range between fuel stops.

The biggest factor in determining which big pocketbike to buy is the power to weight ratio. The lighter the bike – and the lighter the rider just as importantly – and the greater the horsepower and torque, the faster your big pocketbike will go. In short, for maximum speed and peformance opt for a 49cc machine with a sturdy but lightweight frame. This inevitably will mean paying a bit more, but the superior engineering and materials used will pay dividends.

Aimed at older children (usually recommended is 14+ years of age) and adults, big pocketbikes are undeniably more comfortable to ride. And with a greater distance between the seat and the foot pegs, a midi bike makes the larger framed rider appear much less of a circus act. Given the disproportionate sizes of rider and pocketbike, a big pocketbike will at least ensure you're as elegant and graceful as it's possible to get riding a dwarf motorcycle in full leathers and crash helmet.
