I Have A Litter Of Kittens. They Have Started Dying. They Seem To Be In Agony Just Before Their Death. Their Backs Arch And Their Head Draws Back. What Is Causing This? How Can I Prevent It From Happening Again?

I have a litter of kittens. They are 6 weeks old. Three have died a miserable death. They get an arch in their back and their head pulls backward. They are in extreme pain and it is very hard to watch. I don't want the other kittens to go through this.

You NEED to get them to the vet as soon as you can. I know how you feel about not wanting to see them go through this. There could be something that they have eaten that is causing this. I know you might be worried about the cost, but maybe if you talk to the vet about sliding fee scale, he might let you make payments to save the kittens. I can't imagine what is causing this other than a poison or a severe disease. Please get them some help! Hope this helps you out. Good luck.
