What Are The Names Of The Dieties Followed By The Followers Of The Candomble Religion?

    Candomblé is considered a spiritualist religion and it followers worship quite a number of gods, dieties or spirits, that are original derived from African deities. Some of them are listed as follows:

    • the Orishas: The orishas are the dieties of the Ketu Nation according to the  Yoruba mythology. The Orishas is spelled as the Orixás in the Portuguese language;
    • the Voduns: The Voduns are the dieties or gods derived from the original African dieties knows as the Ewe and the Fon. These are the dieties worshiped by the Jejé nation of the African continent.
    • the Nkisis: The Nkisis are the dieties, spirits or gods that have bene derived from the Minkisi. The Minkisi were the dieties or the spirits that were originally worshipped by the Angola Nation of the Africa. In fact the original name for the dieites called Minkisis was the Bantu ( followed and worshiped by Angola nation).
    • Tabela_Orixas-Voduns-Nkisis : Last but not the least are the Tabela Orixas_Voduns_Nikisis dieties, which seem to be a combination of all the above mentioned dieties which have originated from the original dieties call the Orixas, the Ewe, the Fon, The Minkisi and the Bantu followed by the African nations of the Jeje, the Angolas and other nations respectively.
