Ubiquitous computing is also called Ubicomp and it refers to computing that has been integrated into various objects and activities of every day use and we are not even aware of actually using a computer. These instruments are responsive to human interaction and are designed to help people in their daily activities. These devices are small, robust and inexpensive and are used to increase the interaction of humans with computers. An example would be an air conditioning system that can be related to the body temperature of the people in the house. These devices are embedded into the environment in which the humans are present and they react and recognize how the changes in the environment affect the humans and then can deliver a personalized response according to the situation. An example is an intelligent surveillance camera that automatically turns of the alarm when it sees the owner return home.
