Every society requires its people to remain loyal, abide by the the laws that govern the land and above all be ambassadors of that community.

Society expects people living within it to be respectful, caring towards others and friendly. However that is unfortunately not what usually happens within a society.
Due to the fact that a society has a number of different people from different backgrounds, it is usually quite a mixed environemtn. This means that not everyone will be respectful and whilst many people will work hard and bring their children up to be polite, others will simply let their children run riot and they will sit at home all day not caring about the world around them.
Society does expect people to live by the law and just be polite but again that is not what happens within most societies!
