What Is The Motto Of Mash 4077?

Answer Question

MASH 4077 was an extremely popular television show in the 1970's featuring a mobile hospital unit, based in Korea during the war between Korea and the United States.

The motto of MASH 4077 was 'Best care anywhere' which was a cynical way of indicating that the conditions, morale and hopelessness of the whole situation meant that the care provided was in fact rudimentary, basic and by modern standards very poor.

MASH first came out as a book by Dr Richard Hornberger and then as a movie in 1970, with the TV series following the next year.  In total 251 episodes of MASH were shown and it was successful for 11 years (and still has a large following today).  Alan Alda was undoubtedly the star of MASH.  He played Hawkeye, who is in actual fact based on Dr Hornberger, although it is claimed that Dr Hornberger did not feel that Alda portrayed his character very well.
