If you have comcast, you get one with your account.
Or if you are on a mac, you can by a ".Mac" account for about $100 a year. I know there may be more free ones out there. Do a Google search.

Well, first off, what is your website about? You need to find a way to really lure people in. Something clever, interesting, or helpful. You need to make it known. Send out emails to friends and friends of friends and ask them to spread the word. Post your website on blogs and other websites.
