What Can A Teenager Do?

I'm 15 and I'm trying so hard to keep our family of 5 from having to move into a rental (we built this house and I love it) We are in debt badly and it's a matter of time before we get kicked out. Are there any GOOD websites to find jobs at, or ways to make money online (don't say ebay), I'm thinking about jobs around Lansing, MI. Please help me help my family.

The adult in the family should contact the bank that holds the title to the home and explain the situation and perhaps they will refinance in order to lower the payments and at 15 years of age I give you loads of credit for wanting to help,a job at 15 would be something part time as I would assume you are still in school,so you could apply at a super market, apply with a janitorial company clean offices after business hours, you can bag groceries, not much but every little bit helps, good luck to you and the family

It should not be up to a 15 year old to shoulder this much responsibility.  However, that's the ideal and you are dealing with your reality.  It is good of you to care so much.  You might try checking with your state employment agency to see what the rules are for someone your age to work.  They may also be able to steer you toward a job.  And don't forget about babysitting, yard work, house cleaning for a few.  But may I speak to another aspect of this problem?  It seems like the very worst thing that could happen now, and I'm not going to minimize what losing your home can do to a family, but you will be surprised - should that happen - that there will be good things that come of the situation too.  I know this to be true for it has happened to me when I was just about your age.  You may gain insight into exactly what makes a family tick, you may make better friends than you ever imagined in your new neighborhood, you may change schools and find someone - teacher or friend or neighbor - who inspires you more than anyone in your present situation.  Life is an adventure and what KIND of adventure is usually much more up to us than we dare dream.  Be open to all positive possibilities.  Don't make choices you will regret and live the best life you can always.  If you have faith in God develop it further, don't give up because it seems you've been forgotten.  If you don't have faith, see about finding some.  Faith in yourself, in God, in your family - just believing that things will be better can help.  Good luck to you in all your endeavors.
