There is a place in the city of Mablethorpe, which is located in the county of Lincolnshire in England called A1 Surf. This place has a system to record the low tide and the high tide for the day. For example, the low tides were at six minutes past four a.m. and 38 minutes past four p.m. and the high tides were at 39 minutes past nine a.m. and 25 minutes past 10 p.m.
The heights of the tides were one-and-a-half metres (at low tide, 0406 hours), 4.3 metres (at high tide, 0939 hours), 1.4 metres (at low tide, 1638 hours) and 3.9 metres (at high tide, 2225 hours). All the four tide times are in Greenwich Mean Time. The time in summer in the United Kingdom is one hour ahead of Greenwich Mean Time.
