Can The Pakistan Cricket Team Afford To Lose Inzamam-ul-Haq As A Captain At This Crucial Time?

Answer Question

The demise of Bob Woolmer is something that has left everyone gobsmacked and most people devastated.  But lets accept it.  All of those Pakistani cricket fans who are paying their tributes to him and showering all sorts of praises on him would have done the exact opposite had Woolmer been alive.  Along with Inzamam, Woolmer would have also gotten the burnt of our nation's fury and venom, like every captain and coach get after Pakistan loses an important match or series.  And this being the World Cup – the big enchilada- the anger of Pakistan cricket fans is definitely touching the heights, considering the early exit of Pakistan from this mega tournament.  But here's a point to contemplate upon:  the team has already lost Woolmer, who had been with the team since a long period of three years; at this delicate jiffy, can the team actually afford to endure another loss in the form of Inzi's sudden exit?  The Pakistan team, which is full of young players, has been playing under Inzi since four years.  And whatever one may say, it's a known fact how much the entire team regards and reveres Inzamam.  Getting carried in the emotional flow, Pakistan might think it sane and even better for the team that Inzamam is going but is it really a prudent step?  How would the deeply demoralized and immensely broken team mend the damage if they are given this another great setback.  In lieu of improving things for the players, Inzamam's departure would only serve to worsen matter
