The Faucet In My Bathroom Squeals When I Turn The Hot Water Handle On. What Is The Problem And How Can I Fix It?

The squeal ceases when I turn the handle to increase the flow. Then by itself, the flow of water will slow down and the squeal will start up again until I turn the handle to increase the flow. What can I do? It's embarassing with guests .

The problem with your faucet is that it is not fixed properly. You need to call a plumber and get it fixed.

It seems like you don't have enough water pressure to your sink. one way you can check is to make sure your valves are open all the way on your hot water heater thus increasing your pressure. Also, is this an older house? some of the older houses had smaller diameter pipes therefore decreasing the water pressure causing squealing.
