    Clostridium difficile are bacteria which can cause sever diarrhea. These bacteria are acquired form the hospitals or due to long term use of antibiotics. Clostridium difficile infection can lead to death if not treated on time because it can cause dehydration, toxic mega-colon, kidney failure, and bowel perforation.This infection can be treated with special antibiotics like metronidazole and vancomycin.
