MAN: The size of a Metro Politan Area Network (MAN) is between LAN and WAN. A man normally covers an area between five and fifty kilometer. A man is not generally owned by a single organization. A man often acts as a high speed network. Fiber optics is usually used to allow sharing of regional information at high speed.
