What Does Din Mean?

    Din usually means to make a loud noise. It is derived from the Middle English word, 'dine' and also from Old English word 'dyne'. Din is also referred to as an Arabic term, which means "religion" or "way of life". It is also known as Deen. It is refers to Muslims to live a particular lifestyle according to the Qur'an. It is also used by Arab Christians.  

    DIN is also the abbreviation that is used for the German Institute for Standardisation (Deutsches Institut für Normung). It is also referred to as a Dug Identification Number that is used in Canada. This identification is an exclusive number given to all drugs.

    Din (Kabbalah) is also considered as one of the unique ten aspects that applies to Ein Sof in Kabbalah, which is popularly known as "Gevurah.
