The Bible, it is my lifebook, the source of encouragement and correction, and the standard by which I try to live my life.
And the Old Testament has some really good and true stories in it- some might blow your mind. Bible characters were not perfect people without troubles and problem. They were just like us- only Jesus was perfect. The New Testament has instruction and encouragement for our daily lives.

Watership Down is my absolute favorite, just for fun, book to read. I can read it over and over again.

I have not finished it yet because it is the living word/the bible...i find new things in it everyday just about.....

I couldn't really pick just one. The different religious texts from the different religions are always a good read. Whether or not one believes in a god or gods, or if the writings are fact or fantasy, you can always find great teachings and timeless truths in each book. Philosophical books from the great thinkers, past and present, are also some of my favorites ;)
