How To Change A Laptop Hard Drive?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

To change the hard drive of a laptop, you have to first find out the hard drive device which is located in a panel which is situated either at the bottom or at the side of the laptop. It probably measures about two-and-a-half inches. After locating the hard drive device which is located in a panel which is situated either at the bottom or at the side of the laptop, you have to slide the panel off and remove the faulty hard drive and replace it with a new one.

As far as connecting your hard disk drive to a desktop is concerned, this can be done using a hard drive adapter which measures between approximately two-and-a-half inches and three-and-a-half inches. Instead of using a hard drive adapter which measures between approximately two-and-a-half inches and three-and-a-half inches, you can also use an external hard drive enclosure, which measures approximately two-and-a-half inches.
