I'm 11. What To Expect To Happen When I Get My Period?

you may have some mild cramping, middle should help.  and you will have a flow of blood from your body and sometimes it can get heavy.  make sure you always have supplies on hand so you are not caught off guard.  i am proud of your attitude

You are of the right age to start, so keep pads or tampons on you at all times. (tampons can be painful for some, at your age I preferred pads) If you haven't started carrying a purse you might wanna it makes a great place to keep pads and so forth in. I always kept an extra pair of undies with me... You never know when you might bleed through having a heavier flow than expected or for starting sooner than you thought. Congrats on becoming a young woman!

No it's not weird at all. Now getting your period you can get cramp that can be minor and or sharp. What you can do is take a hot towel and put it over were it hurts if that doesn't work ask your mom for advice.

It's normal to be excited about it. Your first period can be light, some times the blood can be brown or light pink. Both are normal. When I got my first period, I didn't get it again for about 6 months. So it is also normal if you don't get it every month right away.

I was so excited when i thought i was going to get mine,didn't happen,until the 11th grade,but sometimes you wont get cramps,and sometimes it is the signal that it is about to begin sometimes you get signals a week before tenderness heavy feeling in your stomach and sometimes it could just come down on you,and you need to be ready for somethimg feeling kind of wet and sticky,since you have never had one,other things are...... Pick the sanitary aids you will most feel comfortable using,talk to your mom she can help you decide on whats best for you.but it is exciting to start the journey to becoming a young lady.I wish nothing but the very best for you.

Well yes i guess its normal to be existed but you need to buy some tampons or sanitary towels (pads) You can get tummy pain or back ache or even both! But I prefer it when im not on my period! But i suppose it has to happen lol x And Dont be scared to tell your mum you started because she will understand and i no its a bit embarrassing but im sure it'l be fine =]

Not weird at all dont worry EVERYONE gets excited about there period and a sighn that your period is comeing is clear liqude will start comeing out of your butt you periodwill most likley come in 5 to 6 months
